Intralot is set to an launch online, mobile and fixed telephone sportsbook for players in all of South Africa after its local subsidiary, Intralot South Africa, was awarded a betting license for the Western Cape.
What will it include?
All South Africans will be able to use Intralot’s new sports betting offering through the Internet, or their mobile or fixed telephones. According to Intralot, the sportsbook will feature football, rugby cricket and golf – the most popular sports in the country. The sports betting portfolio will soon include horse racing as well.
In addition, the 5.4 million residents of the Western Cape will be able to enjoy Intralot’s sports betting services through land-based facilities as well, which will be seen in Cape Town and other popular centers shortly.
