GAMOMAT's Gaming for the Climate Expands with the Addition of Lava Lions

On August 1, 2023, GAMOMAT, a well-known independent software developer famous for its slot games, announced the extension of its Gaming for the Climate campaign. They have introduced Lava Lions to support the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF). Since its launch in June 2021, Lava Lions has been a popular game featuring Diamond Wilds, Volcano Scatters, and the top-paying stacked Lion symbol.

GAMOMAT has committed to conservation projects by allocating some net revenues from selected titles. Lava Lions is now part of the Gaming for the Climate campaign, and a part of its net revenue will contribute to AWF's conservation efforts. AWF is also working to ensure long-term environmental sustainability by co-managing protected areas.

AWF's funding to conservancies is vital for implementing patrol strategies to combat illegal wildlife trafficking activities. Efforts are being made to improve landscape connectivity between Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks and adjacent community-based conservancies and ranches.

Lava Lions now joins Book of Oasis and Monkey Mania as the third title under the Gaming for the Climate banner, continuously supporting climate protection initiatives. Since 2021, Book of Oasis has benefited Healthy Seas, and Monkey Mania has been actively contributing to Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) since its launch last year.
