The National Gambling Board
The National Gambling Board's mission statement is 'to ensure uniformity, harmonisation and integrity of the gambling industry in South Africa.'
The National Gambling Board was established in 1998 to serve as a regulatory body for the gambling industry in the wake of the National Gambling Act, 1996.
The Board oversees matters relating to casinos, gambling, betting and wagering and promotes uniform standards with regards to gambling activity across South Africa.
